Editorial method

Editorial Policy

Explanations should make their source and assumptions visible. Federal tax facts and plan rules are not treated as timeless or interchangeable.

01 / FIELD NOTE

Primary sources first

Tax-year limits link to IRS announcements and participant guidance. Workplace plan documents and fees link to the plan administrator and Department of Labor. General price changes refer to BLS material; Social Security statements refer to SSA. SEC Investor.gov is linked for comparison with its compound-interest explanation. A reader’s plan document controls plan-specific terms.

02 / FIELD NOTE

Dates, calculations, and scope

A changing tax amount should name its tax year. The projection formula and month-end deposit assumption appear beside the calculator. Editorial text distinguishes a mathematical model from an investment forecast and states material exclusions. Pages do not evaluate reader facts or make product recommendations.

03 / FIELD NOTE

Review and correction route

The publisher should revisit tax-year content when the IRS issues new limits and review source links when they change. A correction can be sent through Contact with the page and a supporting source. The publisher must configure a monitored route and record meaningful changes. This site does not claim an independent reviewer or a fixed external audit schedule.

04 / FIELD NOTE

Commercial independence

No paid ranking, endorsement, sponsorship, affiliate relationship, or ad tracking is configured in this package. If that changes, identify the material relationship near the relevant content and update advertising and privacy disclosures before publication.
